Hey there, I almost forgot I had a blog. Some things have changed in my career as an illustrator that I want to comment on, but first a much needed eye candy update:

If you would like to see more of my most recent work, please feel free to check out my website here:

www.krop.com/theflash

Not only does it contain other cover work that is not featured on my blog, it also showcases some of my sequential work.

Alright, back to business. It's been a long time since I posted anything on here. Time to buckle down and post frequently. Every Monday sounds like a good plan, but will I remember? Eh, no one cares anyways, at this point I'm pretty much talking to myself.

This one took me a while to get done, but I like the results. It's all part of gearing up for the comic con this year.

Word is out that the new Justice League movie will star Common aka Lonnie Rashid Lynn Jr. as The Green Lantern. A favorite hip hop artist and a favorite super hero clash... there's only one thing left to do. Draw Common as the Green Lantern before any of the movie photos leak..... aaaaaaaaaand done.

Here's a fun one. All photoshop, two days, two sittings. Took me approx. 6 hours. I remember watching Aquaman as a young Aqua-lad. The old cartoon was made in the 60's and it was pretty poorly written and animated. But if I had never seen it I would never found an interest in drawing super heroes today. I guess since the 60's, Aquaman lost his hand somehow. That's a downer, except now he has a sick man-skewering hook on it. Niiice.

My imagination goes crazy when I think about drawing Nightcrawler. What a cool ability... I mean transportation would be wicked in every way. Plus the guy just looks cool. Two Halloween's ago, I went to school in a Nightcrawler costume that I made myself, (huge dork I know). It looked good though.

I've been drawing super heroes for as long as I can remember. I was able to learn through repetition. In those days it was Spidey, or maybe Batman. Nowadays, I like a little variety in my life. I don't like sitting down and dedicating too much time on one thing-

Mr. Fantastic- done in one sitting approx. 3 hours
